Sheila Badwan founded Luminary Bridge Consulting after more than a decade of nonprofit executive leadership, building and leading mission-driven organizations from the ground up. Her background also spans healthcare administration, including compliance and operations, giving her a practical, operations-level understanding of the healthcare systems she now advises.

Sheila has a strong track record of securing grant funding for mission-driven organizations and has helped raise millions of dollars in support over the course of her career. She is currently pursuing her CFRE certification. Her leadership has also been recognized publicly; she was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Milwaukee through the "This is Milwaukee" project.

Today, Sheila works with healthcare providers, universities, and health systems on strategic planning, community outreach and engagement, and workflow and operations optimization, helping organizations connect more authentically with the people they serve while building the internal systems to sustain that growth. She also partners with small nonprofits, offering the same strategic planning support and hands-on guidance to help smaller organizations grow with the same intention. In addition, she brings her experience to teams, conferences, and community partners as a speaker and trainer, and she regularly speaks at universities on refugee issues.

Beyond her consulting work, Sheila serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community leadership.
